Beautiful and perfect for our little family (dog friendly!). Kitchen reno is beautiful. It snowed almost every day we were there and the plow came up the long driveway. Very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin, the location was great and the outside deck is a nice private setting. Would rent this cabin again.

In general, the vacation rental could be an excellent home, but it currently suffers from serious deficiencies:
1. Many of the screen doors and window screens are broken.
2. The shower doors do not work.
3. The showers and toilets are not draining properly.
4. The silverware was made out of plastic, readily broke and plastic coating pealed off.
5. The few dishes were incredibility scratched.
6. The smoke detector went off and had to be permanently disabled per the fire alarm's instructions.
7. The outside furniture was incredibly worn.
8. The current shade in one of the bedrooms does not open.
9. Very little bathroom tissue was provided.

The house is in a central location near the big meadow, which is easy to walk to. The quality of the house is good, especially considering it allows dogs. Kitchen, dining, lounge, den, bathrooms and bedrooms all great. Kitchen well stocked. The locks on the patio doors could use some maintenance and the deck needs some attention (nails sticking out, easy to get spliters). Our dog found a trail of mouse poo inside the house. A previous reviewer mentioned the height of the is true, they are crazy high, but they are also very comfortable :-) Overall we really enjoyed our stay. However, I would add that the Black Butte booking / welcome experience wasn't as good as in the past (very brisk and commercialised) which ruined the experience a bit. I also felt that the cost (with all the random extra costs) to rent this home was a bit too high.

My family and I stayed seven nights at SM #30. We were extremely disappointed in the house. It was very dirty - the carpet was stained and in need of a good vacuuming, the pendants over the kitchen counter had accumulated dust on them, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the bathrooms were terrible. The outside deck needs to be replaced - we could not walk on it without shoes or we got slivers in our feet and the wood seating around the deck had nails sticking up so we had to be careful where we sat. The railings on the inside stairwell are certainly not up to code and again, we had to be careful with two young children coming down the stairs.

The location is great and the management company responded quickly when we thought the water heater was broken. It was not - the water heater is very small and by the second shower, there is little hot water. We had to wait at least an hour between people showering.

I'm very surprised that Black Butte Realty has this "new listing" in their inventory. I will be very careful before renting through them again.

As near as I can tell, the only improvement on this property is new kitchen appliances. The downstairs bathroom is sub par with an old low toilet, and old shower and the shower floor was dangerously slippery. The upstairs bath was only a bit better. The laundry room was in the HVAC room with junk piled everywhere. The house wasn’t very clean, there was no garage or hot tub. I would never rent this house again.

Enjoyed access to the outdoors..big deck with comfortable seating..but liked the AC once in a while. Cooking, laundry-practical tasks were easy. Would have liked a few toys for the preschool age kids. Ditto for pool towels. They would have been a thoughtful gesture on the owners' part.n

We stayed at this home for 3 nights with our two kids. We had lots of snow and skied at nearby Hoodoo. The home was very comfortable. Beds are pretty high off the ground so for someone older it could be an issue.
